Changsha, China on January 1, 2010 from 7-9 p.m.

 

Distinctive features of the “Erik and Dhru” sound include Dhruva’s sultry alto voice, Erik’s blazing guitar solos, smooth harmonies and original songwriting that runs the gamut from poignant to powerful and from sensual to silly. Their smooth harmonies and blazing guitar work bring new life to old favorites and add spice to their tasteful originals. Great toe-tappin’, head bobbin’, eye’s closin’ music, full of fuzzy drenched frenzy!

Erik and Dhru hail from Frostburg, Maryland. Both musician/songwriters with distinctive styles of their own, their combined sound is described as "acoustic blues and beyond." In the mix, you'll find folk with a splash of alternative, soulful robust blues, sultry jazz vocals and even an acoustic jam band flavor.

Erik recently returned to Frostburg after ten years of playing professionally and touring nationally with the band *Early Grace* and *Mel Melton and the Wicked Mojos,* including opening several shows for the Neville Brothers.
